White ink has an interesting effect on your collagraph prints
It is hard to say exactly what has happened, but there is a distinct and positive improvement in the print, a bit like the way someone looks when they come back from holiday. Your print has more substance, more energy, and more clarity.

The paint is acrylic, it takes a few minutes to dry initially, so don’t wipe the water off immediately. After you have wiped the rain drops off the paint will still be soft.

Making plates with carborundum paint is a technique beloved by many printmakers, and once you have tried it you will understand why.
It is a lovely, free painterly technique and you can work quite fast if that suits you. The marks can be very expressive, and the prints often look like a lithograph or evenlike a painting.
